I found out directly from an athletic department staffer at the game on Sunday that no matter who won the game between Tulsa vs Georgetown, we were going to be on the road regardless. The State Farm Center is hosting "Bluey Live" on March 26th & 27th. One of the stipulations of hosting in the WBIT is that you have to give the visiting team access to the arena for practice / shoot around 24 hours before game time. It ended up being a moot point since Tulsa ended up winning, but if Georgetown had won (and Illinois had the better seed), we still would have had to travel to Washington, DC to play the Hoyas on their floor.
Let's just take care of business in Tulsa on Thursday night so we can make the short drive to Indy to see the ladies play at Hinkle Fieldhouse in the WBIT Final Four.
