I don't think so--UConn is a different breed. Big win against Iowa State on Thursday. BU and staff will be fine. In fact, it might make this staff to go after and secure top elite players. The AD will be a big ally.
We need a PG, and better 3 point shooters.
Have you seen what UConn has been doing to other good teams? The loss changes nothing. Advancing to the elite 8 helps I believe.

Amani Hansberry's jumper was a ray of sunshine as we start piecing together next year's team. Him being a shooter makes a lot of lineups possible.

I'm certainly not any of those guys but:
We won 29 games this year
We won the big ten tournament
We made the elite 8
That good news will last me for a bit.
Yeah, him being able to have the ability to knock down 3s is very nice.
Maybe we are saying the same thing I’m not sure. I really like Coleman. He’s been a valuable Illini. But he could ABSOLUTELY improve his game next year in Champaign. His chances of not making an NBA are way greater than making an NBA team.
Why not take a bag from the Illini and come back on a very good team and improve your professional chances?

Tough way to end the season. I think players will need a week or two to know for sure their intentions next year. Things we need
MD waiver status. Assuming dad going back to coaching he is not coming back. You could build a team around him
We need a 5 Hawkins was a 4 and couldn’t match up against the bigs. DD is good but not reliable not to have someone else. DD is good and don’t want to see him go
I think we are covered at the 4 with Ty and AH if they come back. Also we have Morez who probably can play a 4/5
Need a solid 3 if MD doesn’t come back
DGL and SH are good but need at least 2 experienced guards
Goode hope he comes back. I could see him continue to improve his game. Love his hustle
Shooting from the outside needs to be addressed losing a ton of talent
BU has shown he can create a roster who can compete even without a PG
