I doubt it happens but damn id love a Domask waiver. I wonder when we may hear about that.
Can I like this twice? We need a PG.
We will have to agree to disagree. Coleman is a very good college player and has been and would be a valuable Illini. But he is no where near an NBA player.I'm no insider but I strongly disagree.
The old refrain of "improve your game and raise your stock for the next draft" doesn't work for a guy like Coleman who has had a great year, shown what he has consistently, and would be leaving a weak draft to enter a much stronger one as a 5th year player. His best chance of sticking as an NBA player is right now.
It's possible he isn't drafted and doesn't end up on an NBA roster. It's possible he'd be turning down the most money he will ever make playing basketball in his life by not coming back to Illinois.
But unlike Kofi Cockburn, Coleman Hawkins profiles as an NBA player and so it's reasonable for him to target his pro future rather than just maximizing his college earnings (which are already considerable). Doesn't seem like a remotely close call to me with that as his aim.
Sencire.. Can't wait to see you play again..

Uh.. noDoes this loss kill recruiting momentum? Got embarrassed on the national stage.
I don't think so--UConn is a different breed. Big win against Iowa State on Thursday. BU and staff will be fine. In fact, it might make this staff to go after and secure top elite players. The AD will be a big ally.Does this loss kill recruiting momentum? Got embarrassed on the national stage.
Have you seen what UConn has been doing to other good teams? The loss changes nothing. Advancing to the elite 8 helps I believe.Does this loss kill recruiting momentum? Got embarrassed on the national stage.
Amani Hansberry's jumper was a ray of sunshine as we start piecing together next year's team. Him being a shooter makes a lot of lineups possible.Okay, @Indy Illini Fan @illini0440 @sharpshot16 @LvilleILL ...
Bring us a dose of good news to ease our pain today.
Either way. I don't see CH coming back.Loading…

Suffice it to say, both of our views are represented!
LMAO, no. He's a good player, but he's not the dominant defender Clingan is.I’d absolutely love to get Kalkbrenner if he entered portal. He’d be a better Clingan.

Yeah, him being able to have the ability to knock down 3s is very nice.Amani Hansberry's jumper was a ray of sunshine as we start piecing together next year's team. Him being a shooter makes a lot of lineups possible.
Maybe we are saying the same thing I’m not sure. I really like Coleman. He’s been a valuable Illini. But he could ABSOLUTELY improve his game next year in Champaign. His chances of not making an NBA are way greater than making an NBA team.Loading…
