Appreciate insiders giving us the info you have so this is no shot at you guys at all. But if Hill and Maddox are two of the biggest targets, I’m super underwhelmed. Live in Toledo so I’m familiar with both. Either might be decent complimentary pieces (6th man type guys) but not guys to fill the holes we have. And I just can’t imagine taking both…makes no sense to me. Based on earlier comments about getting some crazy talent I was hoping we’d hear names of much better players.

Little disappointed with the names being thrown around especially regarding players who couldn't shoot well at lower level conferences but hey, at this time last year we didn't expect Harmon, Guerrier or Domask to be what they turned out to be.

Please please please let Boswell enter the portal lol

You wouldn’t take Storr?

I see a lot of Andres Feliz in Maddox and a lot of Mark Alstork in Hill, jmho.

The season literally ended less than 3 hours ago! I trust the plan will work out. We have a great NIL structure and a great head coach. We will be fine.

Out of those three, Domask is the only one who outperformed expectations. Harmon had a nice stretch in the early/mid season, but ended up being pretty much what we expected, if not worse. Guerrier was a bit of a disappointment overall. Domask, obviously, was outstanding but other than that I don't think we had some super incredible year in the portal.

If Hill comes so does Storr. I expect us to get a stud wing (Hopefully AJ) and either a stud guard/big and a couple of good role players

This is pretty accurate. Knecht and Ray J are the two I most remember us missing on.

It’s really hard to believe just how good and effective Marcus was. What a year he had.

I get the sense the staff don't have the faith in Dain to make him a centerpiece from an on-court and NIL payroll perspective and believe they can get more with those resources elsewhere.

And in my opinion they're wrong.
Agreed. Seems like an odd decision.
