I confess that I clapped at this play, remembering the Ayo hit.
Is Sissoko still playing for MSU? can't remember if he was a Sr. last year or not

This the face I envision people make when they type an ellipsis

Ehhhhhh, so there is a term for it,...lol. That is very apropos....

I often think of the ... as a 'fill in the blank however you want', lol...

When Brad took the blame for the open threes in the first half, I thought that was such a difference from just a couple years ago, when I think he lights our guys up. He seemed pretty calm whenever I saw him on the sidelines.

That means a lot to me because that's how his demeanor was last year with a veteran team. We will see how long that lasts once the lights actually come on, but that seemed like a new chapter for Brad.

We surely have things to figure out, but I'm sure we will as the season progresses. It wasn't as easy as we thought it would be, and that's par for the course of Illini fans.

How many practices or gym sessions had all of our players participated together at this point?

It seems that some players got to campus late for legitimate reasons. It cannot be that long the whole team has been together

BU will find which players work the best with each other

I am interested to see how his defensive strategy adapts this year

Well, this summer I said that if Brad got this team into the top 10 as some were predicting that it would be his best coaching job ever. Lots of people knew that it wouldn't be easy. Some spoke up. I'm sure others didn't because people tend to attack anyone who expresses any doubts about our success.

It seems some people's outlook on the season has changed based on this one scrimmage. Mine hasn't. I'm still very optimistic and hoping that we don't have the chemistry issues that we say in 2022.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can be rather delusional when it comes to the Illini, especially Men's Basketball. After we beat Duke at MSG, I fully expect us in the Top 10, or even Top 5. :)
