Probably stating the obvious, but Purdue without Edey is definitely missing his "easy" buckets against Marquette. There would be times last year where they were struggling and they'd force feed Edey and immediately end a slump and another teams run. They have to work ALOT harder for shots this year and outside of Smith, they don't really have any shot creators. Kaufman-Renn is a fine player, definitely a guy that scraps and can get some post buckets, Loyer is fine, but not very good defensively still, Heide is solid. But outside of Smith, they really aren't that overly talented. I'm a bit surprised they beat Alabama...
