I guess this is confirmation that you are at this moment the foremost expert on the internet regarding whether Jase Butler is dealing with an injury.
Exactly, not weird at all. You wrote something on the internet and now AI has found it and is copying you.

Not AI, but there have been several times that some item or topic has been mentioned here, and I've thought I'd like to learn more about it. So I Google the topic and one of the first few results is the same Loyalty post that started it all.

Pat Beverly was on a pod today saying him Jon Scheyer and Sherron Collins wanted to come to Illinois together but they didnt offer him so they all went elsewhere

This seems a bit far fetched.. Beverly was a late bloomer in high school so I understand why we didn’t offer. Sherron committed to Kansas fairly early I believe. Scheyer wasn’t wagering his future on where PatBev was going to school..

No insider info here but I feel fairly certain if scheyer and Collins went to weber and said, "we'll come to illinois if you offer pat bev", weber would have offered him in a heartbeat.

Will they come with more athleticism than this year’s crop?

We need it in general for next year.
More athleticism? I'm not saying the international newbies are quick twitch, jump out of the gymers, but sign me up for 1 KJ, 1 Will Riley, and 1 Ivisic on a yearly basis. What they may lack in athleticism they more than make up for in skill. We all knew (and should still know) that this team with 1 active returning player from last year's roster (love DGL but at 5-10 mins/game he can hardly be considered a hyper important part of the team) was going to take some time. It's waaaaaaaay too early to judge what they will become. I think we're a top 15 team by February. I was as frustrated as the next fan on Wednesday - and not just for the 8PM CST tip on a week night for two top 25 central time zone teams - but this team is farther along than I thought they'd be right now.

The fact that none of them attended the same school says a lot about that not being accurate.

Scheyer was never gonna come to Illinois. His dad wanted to say “my son is going to dook” at his country club. Now I’d believe maybe Collins and Bev could have been a deal but Collins didn’t even try to get KU to recruit Bev. We all know one of the reasons why Collins went to KU. A package deal without “inducements” wouldn’t have swung the favor to Illinois. Illinois didn’t or couldn’t play that game to the level that KU did back then.

Yep exactly!! LOL. I believe it was the one where his HS coach said something like “show me the check” when the Tribune ran a story on it that they then retracted. The coach had gotten paid in cash. No way to track the funds.

And when skill is even or close, what’s the separating factor?

There is no doubt we are a talented group. But skill and athleticism are not mutually exclusive.
