Freshman kids are very young and I try to look at them through lens of my own immaturity when I was their age. I saw the Epps downfall here and figured the change of scenery and experience of going through his difficulties here with coach Brad would help him immensely grow as both player and person. I actively sought out Georgetown box scores and cheered for him.

Considering this is now few years removed, I find what Cooley said and Epp's reaction to both be incredibly childish. Worse yet, Cooley walked back on social media showing how much of a little punk he truly is. He also inadvertently threw Epps under the bus by saying it was something him and Epps joked about. Certainly often enough to say it in front of a camera and claim it'll get national headlines.

Grow the f up both of you.

Not sure Epps could crack our rotation let alone start like he did when he was here. Absolutely no D and not a dawg.

There is history here.

Yep this makes the most sense, Jayden decommitted from Cooley and committed to illinois, only the eventually end up with Cooley at Georgetown. So he made a jest at Jayden with the absolute worst choice in words.

Ed must still be really pissed that Illinois got Epps to flip when he was at Providence. Still seems like water under the bridge in the recruiting game. Juwan wasn’t this salty about losing Shannon
This is a joke right?

We're missing something with this comment. Something happened with regards to recruiting. It has to have. It's either that or Epps lit into BU to his coach.
I bet that Ed momentarily forgot what school Epps came from and the embarrassed child in him filled in the gap.

Bad look for any reason.

BU took the high road because he's a class act and a winner. Cooley is a bum, in charge of a trash program, talking about a kid who cried and whined all season because the coach was too hard on him.

At least Jayden will have gotten to a tournament one year of his college career. He can thank Brad down the road.
