Definitely agree. I was just commenting on the OP last sentence — “believe the next four games will give a better indication on who will be in the rotation and who will not.” I think number in rotation or who doesn’t change. Riley could eventually move into starting lineup, but I don’t think BU is in any hurry to do that. Having him come off the bench provides that “instant offense.” I think it also allows him to control his minutes a bit to keep him fresh all season. And a bit easier to deal with potential foul trouble. He’s a headsy player, but still a freshman. I’m sure we’ll see him get in early foul trouble another few times this season.
Win Thursday will really set this team up going forward. They know they can win games like this against good opponents, but actually doing it will pay big dividends in the confidence department. Not as if this is a most win game, but certainly want to see a much more competitive game.
