I was in town the night before Thanksgiving and took the fam to see the Kings at Wolves. I hoped TSJ would get in but he didn't. Dillingham, on the other hand, did and promptly threw two passes to no one. He looked completely lost. Of course, the Wolves as a whole did that night, getting booed at home and losing bad. They looked like they needed someone like T to come in and light a fire.

Smooth and slender Bob Love.

Crafty one-on-one master Chet Walker.

Tough-as-nails Jerry Sloan.

The feverishly driven Norm Van Lier.

The hub of the Offense – Tom Boerwinkle.

These guys were something. The first really good group of Bulls players as a franchise.

They played like a well-run machine on both ends of the floor. Offense was run from the high-post... all five guys defended like maniacs and opponents hated to play the Bulls because they played D like no one else.

They damn near knocked off some highly-talented Laker teams in the playoffs and scared the hell out of them. Had some epic battles with the Bucks when they had Jabbar and Oscar Robertson and Bob Dandridge. Had old Chicago Stadium packed to the rafters and shaking from the foundation. Set the table for the highly-talented Bulls teams that would follow later on.

These Bulls got every ounce of talent out of them as God gave them.

Commitment... passion... energy... hard work. Made Chicago proud. Will never see Defense in the NBA like that again.
The only time I ever sat on the floor was to see that team. Van Lier was a wizard.

I know it’s the wrong forum, but I hope TSJ gets a chance. They send him to the G league and he tears the place up for two games so they bring him back up and park him back on the bench. Maybe he gets traded to a team that knows talent when they see it. It’s not like the Wolves are doing that great and don’t need help.

I couldn’t find the ‘former Illini in the pros’ thread

But, for those paying attention, Podz is having a big time sophomore slump. Apparently not handling it well either, drama with teammates on the court and the twitter warriors fans are absolutely bashing him for multiple reasons

Kind of surprising

I've been following Podz. It was fun watching his game last year. But I always wondered if those floaters were going to keep dropping for him. Teams figure out players and I think those shots are getting tougher to get off.

three point doesn't seem to be dropping. I suspect it will come back. No idea about locker room issues.

I’m going to Barcelona for a couple weeks and was hoping to see Andres Feliz play with Club Juventut Badalona. Didn’t realize he’s with Real Madrid now. Looks like he’s coming off the bench with relatively low usage.
It's a stacked squad, but I think he also missed a chunk of time to injury right at the beginning of the season which probably set him back a bit.
