Well said
I mean, they are both white, have great hair, and played at Illinois. Basically the same guy.
Domask started slowly last year too. I’m not ready to write him off just yet, but I agree he should not have gotten the minutes he did last night. We have plenty of guys who need those minutes if he has an off night.I know I’m in the minority but I’ll give him till January as a starter. If a situation like tonight occurs again then obviously you’d be foolish to keep him out there/continue starting him. First B1G game. I’m giving him a shot to respond next game. Although Wisconsin does start two 7 footers so Morez may be getting a start regardless of what happened tonight.
I’m a barber, and my wife points out “not so great” haircuts when she sees them…she definitely mentioned Ben’s hahaNot trying to pile on Ben here but he has the haircut I gave myself in the bathroom to pass haircut inspection at my military high school![]()
1) need to run an offenseI think there is more than one reason we lost. First, very bad shot selection by several guys. It wasn't just Humrichous shooting badly. As a team we took a lot of very poor shots. Second, the team created very few good shots. We were very slow to move the ball, which meant that we didn't punish NW for their defensive overplay on the perimeter. Our guys were reduced, or allowed themselves to be reduced, to relying exclusively on the three down the final stretch of the game. Third, we were physically overpowered at both ends of the floor, which meant that NW got some good shots in the paint while we reduced to long range, off balance threes at the other end. We made some of tough threes, too, but it would have been a lot smarter to run offense that generated better shot attempts.
Is it just my observation... why is Will Riley's shot so ugly? At the beginning of the year (Alabama let's say), he shot such a smooth ball.
Rn it's sideways and leaning... idk...
Boswell isn’t stepping up as that floor general and veteran leader we need in crunch time to manage the clock down and run the offense for a good open look. Frustrating.
I rarely see us force a team to make defensive switches to get the matchup we want, but every other team known to man does it...not just against us.Am I losing my mind or was it not KJ that was getting switched on to Martinelli especially in OT?
It's his stubbornness...it costs us 2 to 3 games every yearWhile the refs let the game get way too rough, taking us out of our game, we had every opportunity to win. That said, this is one of those Underwood head-scratchers that we see a few of every year. Zero adjustments made, weird rotations; it is what it is.
I love Coach, and we're lucky to have him here, so I've learned to accept these and hope we don't have one of these pop up in the tourney.
So your implying that BU made a mistake not putting the 185 lb freshman on the two 230 lb power forwards from NW. Well, I disagree and think BU sees these guys bang each other in practice and he put our best options on them defensively. They are bangers and tough to guard. We don't have a TSJ type guy on D anymore. Certainly Riley was not BUs choice for a reasonThis game was called at LEAST three different ways throughout. This argument continues to lack any footing.
If you want to say that Riley was abused, then show numbers and film. Besides, this is all coming from your own assumption that calls for fewer Ben minutes meant more Riley minutes... when Will got 30 and Morez got 12.
If you feel like you're catching up now, take a pause and do more of that.
I met him and his team at Lurie Children’s Hospital several years ago, visiting young patients. Class act.i agree, he is very complimentary of our program and is a very insightful and smart coach
