I watched all 4 games yesterday. Conclusion I came to was, the bought and paid for teams are much superior to the rest of college football. There are 12 teams in playoff to appease " the little people " Get used to seeing the same teams year in year out. Limiting rosters to 105 will have scant effect on the bought teams.

I am interested to see how the rest of the CFP games play out. I wish next round was still on home fields.

Big Ten not overrated

I think it will be interesting to see how conference champs come off long rest

Interesting to see teams like PSU UT playing an extra game in the conference championship will affect them

BSU and ASU look good this year will be interesting to see if they show up against blue bloods

all the home teams won. no surprise there. I will reserve overall judgement until after the next round.
the 12 team format (will eventually be 16 teams) is much better than just 4

it made for a great weekend of football for what would otherwise be four super low level bowls

I will be curious as to how the UT-Clemson TV numbers are compared to the NFL

If you look at ESPNs football rankings, they managed to figure out a way to put the SEC with the #1, #3, #4 teams (TX, Bama, GA).

Big Ten sucks. Oregon's undefeated season has that at....#6. PSU #8.
Wondering if they change the algorithm after every game to stroke their financial interest in the SEC?

My biggest question this bowl season is "will Lane Kiffin ever STFU?"

Dude got beat by Kentucky at home, an 8 win LSU squad (albeit very close game) and then loses in Gainesville to a 7 win Florida team and has the audacity to act like they somehow got snubbed. It's really grinding my gears. lol

ESPN is owned by ABC who is owned by Disney.
They were all once good organizations , but that was years ago.
They have all morphed into corrupt and actually evil companies, with zero regards for truth or fairness .

Seeing articles now about the "Indiana mistake" in letting them into the CFP. I hope that isn't cited as precedent for similar lower-tier big conference teams that have great years. I can almost see it now, an 10-2 Illinois team in a few years being left out due to the "Indiana rule".

It was pretty inevitable... Indiana was just not gonna beat Notre Dame in South Bend... same with SMU. The "blowout" is the factor though.

I'm withholding judgment on this until the quarterfinals are done. If Boise and Arizona St. perform well, we might see a narrative about "give the little guys more of a chance". If they fall flat, then I don't think what happened last weekend will move the needle much.

But in any case, seeing Tennessee boat-raced by Ohio State will still temper this to some degree. That "what about" will be pretty easy to discuss the more people talk about Indiana.

IU played O$U closer than TN.

What conferences need to figure out is who are there four best teams. Should TN gotten in over Bama or Ole Miss.

Unbalanced schedules mean just because you play in a conference you are better than a team in the same conference with a worse record
