I was a lil nervous the SoCar defender was going to punch the ball outta Josh’s hands on that long run
Would like to see him move the ball to the sideline arm in that situation but he had both hands tight on it when he felt pressure. Great run, backbreaking play for USC.

It'll be at least 18 (Miami and South Carolina I assume drop below us). Question is will Clemson, SMU, and/or Indiana drop below us too (I'm not sure). Can Duke beat Ole Miss?

My bet is #18 though.

4 loss Alabama, 4 loss Colorado, 4 loss South Carolina, 3 loss Miami - all of those non-CFP teams should be below us. Not even to mention 4 loss Clemson, and 3 loss SMU who got hammered in State College (playoff teams but still).

Colorado was already below us. I forgot about Alabama though!

#17 it is!

EDIT: I was looking at coaches poll. Colorado is ahead of us in AP poll. I also thought we were #20 in those polls, we were not. We are #21.

So... maybe I'm back to #18?

I can confirm south Carolina buses are loaded and heading out cutting cars off left and right. I think beamer was driving the one with lights flashing and laying on the horn
lol. I can picture him yelling like a lunatic and people having to “hold” him in the driver’s seat. Frank Kush style when the gates were locked to Sun Devil stadium and he personally rammed the bus through the gates… true story

When Bielema came on the field to check on an injured Illini player near the SC bench, he gave the substitution signal in Beamer's direction. He knew that Beamer was mad, and Bielema wound him up.

Given how Beamer was acting all game long, I don't really have a lot of sympathy.
What no one mentions is Beamer started it. He came over to the injured Illini and patted him on the backside, saying get up, get to you sideline. Good for B! Replying!

anyone have a clip of this play? was it the one they threw the lateral?
I don't know how to post the clip, but it was the kickoff with 2:23 left in the 3rd after we scored to go up 14-10. IMO this was very low class and I understand why the Illini staff was upset. The receiver gave the signal then took 2 or 3 lazy steps as if they had no intention of returning the kick then heaved it across the end zone. Bush league BS.
