That doesn't mean they are coordinated. Just like newspaper columnists at the same paper don't all see eye to eye or take the same positions, sports columnists at CBS don't, either. They're a collection of individuals, not a hive mind.

To be honest I don't think he took the game into consideration at all, or maybe thought the game would be close and then hit send and went to bed before the results came.oit.
I'm sure there is some art to it, but there's a million advanced stats and KenPom's, NET, Torvik, etc. How hard is it to just fill it out close to what the aggregate is for those and publish to a site, then go binge Yellowstone the rest of the day? You could even ask CoPilot or some other AI to consolidate it for you and spit it out.

But I don't think that's an issue with CBS. I think that's an issue with bracketology as a concept and bracketologists as a class of talking heads. We need advanced metrics for bracketologists. They're probably little better than random chance on average, and that only because someone smarter than them created NET, which gives them half the answers.
Then how will they feed their families? Think about the children.
