Palm has both us and Oregon as 3 seeds

So, CBS has WV just slip into the Top 25 +1 with the win at Kansas, but have them at a 2 seed? They are not even in the AP(34th) or Coaches(37th) poll but are a 2 Seed?!

CBS is not a singular person. One is Palm and one is Parrish.

Palm said he doesn't care about metrics that take into account margin of victory, at this point in the season(uh, whatever?) so he is ignoring KenPom and NET.

I get it, but both are published under CBS.

That doesn't mean they are coordinated. Just like newspaper columnists at the same paper don't all see eye to eye or take the same positions, sports columnists at CBS don't, either. They're a collection of individuals, not a hive mind.

My point is, CBS (or whomever creates their content), are a bunch of idiots. I will group them all together, just as I do Lunardi and ESPN.

Some of you guys just cant wait to try and pick people's posts apart. If you'd like to argue that you agree with Palm, Parrish or CBS, post away, but I am pretty sure you all got my point that WV is not a 2 seed. That is all.

Like I said, there shouldn't be any bracket projections until after January 1st in a season, it just doesn't make any sense to do so before then and just biases the analyst against actual performance on the court.

He didn't drop Oregon at all, either. It's kind of self-contradictory. He didn't treat last night of devaluing Oregon but apparently didn't buy that it dramatically changes our value.

Bracketologists (not just Lunardi) are some of the least intelligent in the business.
To be honest I don't think he took the game into consideration at all, or maybe thought the game would be close and then hit send and went to bed before the results came.oit.

I'm sure there is some art to it, but there's a million advanced stats and KenPom's, NET, Torvik, etc. How hard is it to just fill it out close to what the aggregate is for those and publish to a site, then go binge Yellowstone the rest of the day? You could even ask CoPilot or some other AI to consolidate it for you and spit it out.

Lunardi is a name like Kiper or McShay, not the authority on what they actually do.

Maybe he goes to bed at 8 pm?

But I don't think that's an issue with CBS. I think that's an issue with bracketology as a concept and bracketologists as a class of talking heads. They're all bad.
