Illinois 81, Washington 77 Postgame

[Cook]

I blame it on our jersey, burn all bball 1LL1NO1S versions and stick with the throwbacks

[BretMyBeachHouse]

Every big ten road win is huge. I don't care what metrics claim.

[ginabackes00]

There was some good that came out of this game and not so good.
Good:
Bam finally hit some layups
We have KJ
We have Tre
We won

[TheFlyingIllini1317]

Up 13 when I turned the game on and turned it off when we we're up 2 late, glad to see my selflessness rewarded! In all seriousness Tre White MVP today.

[SuperMetroid]

There would have endless screaming for a week about of out of bounds plays if they had ended up losing the game

I mean…there still should be to be fair

[BBlock24]

I’m gonna chalk this performance up to the usual let down after a big time win.

[PizzaHutParkingLot]

Some hard practices are on the docket for this week…

Also, he’s a stud, but can we get some more creative late game offense than just KJ iso? Better to be critical coming off an ugly win than a loss tho

[Orangetool]

Road game, just get the win.

[blife]

Shots were not fallin and found a way to win. That was a strange 2nd half. Happy to get the W.

[Jon]

Wasn’t able to watch. How’d it go besides the win part

Washington never lead, worry-free win

[BlabDunkAnd1]

This was huge. Winning an ugly game on the road, when your shots aren’t falling, on the back end of a west coast trip. These young fellas are learning. We good, real good.

[illinifan1987]

Some of you need to chill the heck out. Nice W.

[OB positive]

A win is a win is a win. Our third game with a finish like this and our first win. We are learning on the fly. It's all gonna make us better come March.

[Illini in Indiana]

Ugly stats, great win!

Rebounds matter

[abchew2]

Man dont love how we finished that game but i bet not many teams will sweep that west coast trip.......learn and move on

Only other team to attempt had high hopes and lost them both. This was a huge trip for our hopes of winning the league.

[Orangetool]

I am really enjoying how DGL always affects the game when he goes in.

Quick moves to the rim and that block on the slam, insane.

[DeeIL89]

We spoiled a dog's birthday. Hell yeah! Lol.

[ILLFAN67]

Again, it wasn’t the Outabounds play that was called That was the issue. It was the execution! I recall we made at least two baskets off of inbound plays today.

[WeWillWhen]

Tre White has been great the past six games. Not good. GREAT.

Not coincidentally, Riley’s minutes have been cut in half.

[goorblue]

Great sweep! Glad we're not Maryland.

[Mobi]

[Miles Leonard]

Say what you will but at the end of the day we made the plays to close it out as good teams do in these types of games, especially on the road. Damn good to get the hell out of Seattle with a W and 2-0 on the West Coast trip.

[Orangetool]

West coast trip ball goes to White.

[OrangeKrush1981]

There would have endless screaming for a week about of out of bounds plays if they had ended up losing the game

I think a scream or two on this subject -- inability to execute out of bounds plays -- is well-justified even with the the win.

I sure hope an alarm goes off in Coach's head about this issue.

[NorthShoreIllini]

Long trip out west. 2 big wins. Imagine they might stay out there tonight with weather in Champaign? Get home safe and rest up. Wednesday is a quick turn.
