This was huge. Winning an ugly game on the road, when your shots aren’t falling, on the back end of a west coast trip. These young fellas are learning. We good, real good.
A win is a win is a win. Our third game with a finish like this and our first win. We are learning on the fly. It's all gonna make us better come March.

Say what you will but at the end of the day we made the plays to close it out as good teams do in these types of games, especially on the road. Damn good to get the hell out of Seattle with a W and 2-0 on the West Coast trip.

I think a scream or two on this subject -- inability to execute out of bounds plays -- is well-justified even with the the win.There would have endless screaming for a week about of out of bounds plays if they had ended up losing the game
I sure hope an alarm goes off in Coach's head about this issue.
Long trip out west. 2 big wins. Imagine they might stay out there tonight with weather in Champaign? Get home safe and rest up. Wednesday is a quick turn.
