USC came in with a MONSTER offer at the last minute and a guaranteed starting spot … We were offering less $$$ and no guaranteed starting spot …

I wouldn’t have been happy if Bret overpaid for an OL that likely is our 4th best OL at best …

Ok, that does make me feel better that wasn't all about money, maybe he wanted a promise to be a starter and we wouldn't do it. I can see why then.

How do you know if a team is going to adjust to it if you don’t try it? And if they adjust, you go back.

I have a quick question about feagin.could alot of his runs coming from shotgun have bothered him about timing.would the staff consider more I formation possibly I seen us do that a little in the bowl game into play action and with his size and speed he'd be a he'll of a blocker to take shots down field and also could get him out in open space with the ball where he get to full speed.you think we could possibly see more of that next season when he's a featured back?

Read recently that redshirt freshman punter Declan Duley will enter the transfer portal. This kid was reported to have a world of potential. Any word on what the story is with this kid? He played his high school football not far from us and he seemed to be a legit D1 college punter.

Pretty disappointing that he couldn't seem to beat out Pinton. Pinton may be an adequate FG kicker but his punting was not spectacular.
