Completely agree. He's been phenomenal about changing his Offense to get the most out of his personnel. It's weird because he's very open-minded in general - I would say way more than most coaches. He has no problem changing offensive strategies to suit his roster from season to season, which a lot of coaches won't do. But it seems like he has a few games each year, where it's obvious what the opponent is doing, and he doesn't make a change in-game. The Loyala tournament game being a perfect example - anyone could see what Loyala was running and we did nothing to counter it and they just keep doing it.
That said, there is no perfect coach. Even the all-time greats have bad games (and bad seasons if they coach long enough). We're sensitive to Brad's negatives because we watch every game. But we don't have that same awareness with other coaches.
My problem has been his stubbornness on trusting his metrics based game plan over TAKING AWAY WHAT THE OTHER TEAM DOES BEST.
