Agree 100% on these three. You can add The Diplomat with Keri Russell on Netflix

An oldie but a goody- Boston Legal on Hulu. At times funny and touching. And Captain Kirk is quite good in it…. He’s got the mad cow.

And he’s cuckoo for coco puffs!

One of my favorite shows of all time. Have all the seasons on DVD. James Spader is great and he quickly became one of my favorite actors after being on that show. The only shame is that they had to kinda rush through storylines in the final season though David E. Kelley had said they basically had to beg ABC to give them a final season.

As a lawyer who often hates legal shows and movies because they get so much wrong, Boston Legal was great. Love that show. Also an incredible treatment of the issue of dementia.

James Spader these last 15 years is great
I thought he was an a$$ back in the 1980's-90's , but I've gone 180 on him and really like him now

Oh yeah he's great. Boston Legal (well technically The Practice since that's where his character first appeared) was the start of his career resurgence and then continued on with a key supporting role in Lincoln, the voice and motion capture of the villain in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and then a decade long run that ended a couple years ago on The Blacklist. The Blacklist is one of the few shows that I can say I watched every episode when it originally aired. If anyone is looking for a show to watch, it is definitely worth checking out. I think it may still be on Netflix though there are a lot of seasons (10) and episodes (218) to watch.

If you never watched Orphan Black, it is now on Netflix and I can't recommend it enough. I watched it when it aired back in 2013-2017 and remember hating to wait a week for each new episode. Being able to just hit the "Next Episode" button on my current rewatch is very satisfying.

I just fired up Black Rabbit on Netflix. I’m hooked. Jason Bateman and Jude Law. Similar vibe to Ozark.
I finished it last week and it's excellent...................show's very well how certain personalities deal with life threatening issues in a very believable mindset.........JMHO.......

I will put it on the list.
I hear "The Boys" on Amazon Prime is pretty good. Anyone watch it and have the same recommendation?

Very good send up of super hero shows and corporate America. Be prepared for some pretty gross and graphic scenes.

Severance...

Funny quotes...

“The work is mysterious and important.”
“My job is to scroll through this spreadsheet and look for numbers that are scary?”
“We have never owned an electric grouter and we look forward to the many happy memories it will provide.” “Nothing says ‘Christmas’ like grouting.”

“The truth you seek lies within The Fourth Appendix.”

It took me several episodes to get into it. I had a lot of encouragement from to of my offspring. They know that I am into bizarre.

I use my library for DVDs to watch a fair amount of “older” shows with a large amount of them being British. I find I I really enjoy their police procedurals, and one I enjoyed recently is No Offence (looks like streaming on Acorn). A more current one I’ve enjoyed (though on PBS) is Patience.

For those who like Gervai/Merchant, I recently watched Extras and really enjoyed it. First two seasons were very funny. The final extended “episode” wasn’t quite as good.

My Mission Possible: to watch every episode in order by Halloween of The Addams Family, all 64 of them. I've watched 10 so far. Not worried. Can do. Plenty of time. You've got to set lofty personal goals even in retirement - of which I'm loving every minute. And the AF episodes.
