I hate the games on Peacock and Big10+.

I would be curious to how much incremental money B10 gets for Peacock vs irritating fans.

Can't lose to Indiana that is coming off of a shellacking by the hands of Iowa. Illinois needs to get back to playing the defense that got them as high as #6 in the country in defensive efficiency as well as crashing the glass for those rebounds. When our guys play this way the offense can get in a rhythm even if the 3s aren't falling. Oh, and let's take advantage of Luke Goode's defense. Hoping for a good end to this Tuesday.

We're going to need a chart of the various mystical artifacts that posters are in possession of, to make sure they are in the right place when called upon.
My old Illini hat (orange and light gray now, with a torn bill) is safely home. So I'm doing my part.

If we hit shots (big if lately) I still think they have a math problem. We ought to be able to limit their 3’s (as we’ve done all year) and I just don’t know that they can be efficient enough from 2 to outscore us. Plus Ballo is still a below average FT shooter.

Biggest matchup for me is whoever Luke is guarding. He will either have to guard Tre or Ben and I don’t think he can check either. One of those two should feast.

Will be a tough game. Always hard to win in there. Hopefully we’ve cleaned some things up defensively and obviously getting KJ back would be a big plus.

I will say 84-77 Illini.
I fear Ballo is going to feast against us due to our lack of physicality inside. But Tomi can at least stretch him out on the other end. Need to drain some threes. When Morez is on him I think he can mostly hold his own but will need to stay out of foul trouble which is sometimes hard for him to do.

I’m kinda worried about the way our drop coverage leaves our big guy in the lane with a target on his chest just waiting for Ballo to roll and shove him into the cheerleaders. Gotta make him uncomfortable somehow - tag him with an off ball defender as he comes off setting that ball screen. Jake looks like he can get under someone’s skin - perfect task for him tonight.
