Good win for Purdue. Not gonna lie I’m getting a little sick of them. I think Paint is a great coach and Smith is incredible, but I’m starting to get a mild case of Duke vibes from them. A little too much chest puffing about program, culture, doing things the “right” way etc. Maybe it’s just me.

We need to win today to keep pace.

I don't know exactly where to put this, but from the world of D3 hoops, Illinois Wesleyan's women's team is 16-0 and ranked #2 in the nation. It's remarkable because they lack size. They start 5 guards. One of them, at 5-8, jumps center for the opening tipoff. LOL. The men's team is 14-2 and ranked #6. I feel confident no college in the country can match that combination.

Thank you for the update. As an IWU alum living in another state it’s rare I hear how they’re doing. Appreciate the update. I’ll have to go check out the Pantagraph if it’s still around.

Gonzaga's loss last night was their first home loss in conference to someone not named St. Mary's since a lost to LMU in 2023. It is the first time they've lost a conference home game to someone other than St. Mary's or BYU since Santa Clara did it back in 2007.
