Egor Demin 5/41 from three in his last 9 games (28% FG, 12% 3PT). That alternate timeline of Illinois giving Demin a $2 million NIL deal looks very dark now.
There's no doubt we got the better player, but those stats aren't a completely fair assessment. Demin has been playing hurt for a good deal of BYU's season so far.

"In his first eight games, Demin averaged 13.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists, shooting an efficient 49.3% from the field, 38.5% from three and 68% from the free-throw line. However, since entering Big 12 play after his injury, Demin has struggled, averaging just 6.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and six assists while shooting 29.4% from the field, 6.3% from three and 66.6% from the free-throw line over four games."

I am intrigued by "The Italian Unicorn," Luigi Suigo. he is 7'3" with a 7'6" wingspan whose athletic ability is catching up to his size. Piper says that Alexander was to meet with him on his Europe trip. He is planning to go to a prep school next year, and would be a replacement if Tomi goes pro after 2 years.

And Maddox who is averaging 5 points for a bad Xavier team.

Anyhow, seemed we wanted these guys and just didn't get them. Blessings in disguise, I suppose?
They would be doing better under Brad, imo. He adapts to the player’s strengths.

I'd imagine we're also to some extent working Constanza (?)

Also, Dame Sarr isn't related to Alex, right?

According to this, we are still heavily involved in the Constanza recruitment.

Not exactly Blue Bloods recruiting Alex

Oregon: Has been going very strong in this recruitment

Oklahoma State: Has reached out and is showing heavy interest

Illinois: Has been constant and intentional about their interest

Kansas State: Has reached out and is very excited to recruit him

California: Showing a lot of interest

I remember back in the earlyish days of email, a friend of mine got in big trouble by her boss for having a Hotmail account LOL. He thought she had some interesting side gig.
