How does it make our blowout loss to Maryland look?Ohio State wins it over Maryland. That makes our win against Ohio State looking even more good. The Buckeyes need to keep trending up.

Was it HighKnees? Seems to be in the mix a lot lately.Interesting that the ref reached to grab the ball before it hit out of bounds there at the end. Oops! Must be the Willard Effect.
There was always something "off" about his officiating to me, and it was not the high knees thing (which he's said several times is to keep his hamstrings loose during a game). Now I see it - the guy is way too close to play far too often. You actually lose a lot of your ability to see a play once you get past an optimal distance away from the action. In other words, sometimes it's a lot better to be 15-20 feet away from a play with a great angle than 2-3 feet from a play with a terrible angle. Was it HighKnees? Seems to be in the mix a lot lately.
I liked him before. Tough, savvy player. Terrible news.Man, I have to like Brooks Barnhizer now... this is so much better than the usual over-processed "announcement to [insert fan base name here]" messages from players. Really tough break for him.
And I jinxed them and gave everyone on UConn butter hands.Do you see how Hurley talks to his players? His players feed off that. He gets a lot of crap on here but Underwood would learn a lot from him.
UConn at home, suffered a loss to St Johns.Do you see how Hurley talks to his players? His players feed off that. He gets a lot of crap on here but Underwood would learn a lot from him.
Guess who bet on UConn and Maryland this weekUConn at home, just lost
In contrast, I really dislike the way Hurley talks to his players. I think Hurley injects a huge amount of energy into his team (good!) and I don't see him belittle his guys (good), but I think he nonetheless sets a really lousy example of behavior for his players. I know Hurley is a GREAT, and truly successful coach, but I do not think he is perfect, and I do not think the way he behaves is the right way to go about leading a team. My opinion.Do you see how Hurley talks to his players? His players feed off that. He gets a lot of crap on here but Underwood would learn a lot from him.
