Could we make Khan an honorary football “coach?” If schools can give out honorary degrees, let’s make him an honorary coach and bestow some cool new celebratory part of the Smith Center for him. Why not be innovative and think out of the box? Keep this completely under Josh’s control so the wider university doesn’t get to weigh in.

Josh was livid about University decision …

Indy, Josh is VERY creative. Couldn’t he come up with something for Khan? Guys like that are very proud people. Anything that we can do to enshrine Khan, he would jump all over it!

How stupid is this university leadership to literally bite the hand that feeds us? Maybe DOGE should come visit Pritzger’s books and that might mysteriously cause a ripple effect causing UI leadership to change their minds??? All in favor???

Maybe I was the only one who thought of those guys as Howard, Holocek, Hardy, and Hrice.
I never could come up with a nifty H-based name for them, though.
I went back after Cams commitment and looked at all 4 if their stats through college careers. My goodness: tackling machines, sacks, fumbles, etc. Insane numbers for us!

Phenomenal name! The sad thing is, when all 4 were crushing opponents. We were going 5-6, 6-6, etc. Lou pepper could bring them in. But my goodness he was a Bad CEO head ball coach. He should have always remained an assistant. That period in football, had some amazing players come through and not much Cake!

Not really a University decision. It was a small subset of the faculty senate. BTW, this is the second time that they voted him down. By and large, the brass were supportive: https://news.yahoo.com/news/jim-dey... the UI's most prominent graduates and donors.

Kate Clancy, a member of the anthropology department, complained about news reports that Khan recently held a "yacht party" attended by politicians she deemed suspect.

"There are some ethical concerns," Clancy said.

Unreal! Sure her name isn't Karen?

Um, exactly who is Kate Clancy??

should not have anywhere near the power they seem to have.

how can that radical group of 'senators' override the President, Chancellor and Board of Trustees?

that makes no sense to me
