It may be prudent for BU to contract a couple MD's, or PA's to look after the team for the rest of the season and immediately get them making the rounds of the sick and injured Illini players and make sure they are taking care of themselves and get out in front of this.
Yeah, it's not like they have one of the best recovery facilities in the country to go along with one of the best medical, training, and dietary staffs in college basketball. What do you think these people are doing, surfing TikTok all day?

UCLA is 0-4 this year in games played west of the Rocky Mountains.

Vs North Carolina (in NY) (76-74)
At Nebraska (66-58)
At Maryland (79-61)
At Rutgers (75-68)

I think this is a game Illinois should win. The only thing UCLA does really well is not turn the ball over. But Illinois doesn’t force many turnovers anyway so don’t see that as much of an advantage.
Check your compass or turn your map over

Riley was our primary ballhandler last night. So assume if those guys are out, Will and KJ will handle the load.
Yep…it’s still not ideal though…
turn overs, bad games,
foul trouble…acts of god. etc.
It’s been Murphy’s Law this year.

Yes to uncontested dunks. They'll have Tomi switch out on the guards to try to prevent those oh so important 3s. My post was intended as a largely sarcastic response to the over reliance or naive applications of analytics.
I love when people get challenged on ignorant remarks they unfailingly come back with "oh I was being sarcastic".

I just noticed - all of UCLA's seven consecutive wins have been on the west coast. Five at home and one at USC and one at Washington. In fact, as of yet, they do not have a win east of the Rockies this season. 🤞

Both play 40 minutes? If Boswell and DGL are out, we’re in trouble.

I believe our win last night was a Quad 2.
From what I have seen with Minny's 95 net,
it's a 2. Quad 1 road wins must be against a team with at least a 75 net.

I would also like to know if I need to arrive earlier than usual. Our sports marketing team in DIA is very good at a lot of things, but they often neglect to share details like this for the 16K fans who will be attending and might want to know.
No specific answer, but FWIW we were in town for the Purdue football game in November 2022 and decided last minute to catch the Friday night basketball game where they were honoring the 2022 regular season championship. We were running later than we planned and got there right at game time, worried we’d miss the ceremony. However, we still waiting like 10+ minutes because they wanted a full crowd, lol.

Given we’re on Peacock and not waiting on another game like with cable, I’d wager they’ll delay to allow folks to get in their seats. But I can’t be positive, so best to be on time!

Incidentally, this will be the final week I have Peacock.
I believe that Peacock will televise the first three games of the Big Ten Tournament on Wednesday. The Big Ten Network will televise the second round games on Thursday. BTN will also televise the third round games on Friday. CBS will televise semifinal and final rounds on Saturday and Sunday.

Tre knows him well. Skyy spoke highly of the program. True insiders (media) mentioned it wasn't Skyy final decision to quit team.
I recall someone said he said it was the worst decision of his life. Maybe I’m wrong…

Thoughts I’ve had all season.. can we please get back to doing some High-Low action ala Giorgi/Kofi?
Similarities are there with the skilled passing of Tomi and Giorgi, and obviously the man-child of Morez/Kofi.
Insiders, does the staff even consider it? Or is it back pocket and bring it out in March?
It would be AMAZING!

I am going to like this post just for that AMAZING picture.

Wish Giorgi had stayed for 4 (or 5) years.
