Love the Stick Smith references. I remember randomly sitting at a table next to him in the Union between classes. He had the longest legs I’d ever seen on a man. It’s insane how big some of these guys are up close.
Indy, why wouldn't he redshirt? The plan for Luigi would be to come do a prep year here in the US next year likely at LYP or SCA and then join the team the following year … Would slot right in to Tomi’s spot …
No one has put more work into this recruitment than Geoff …
Mainly battling BYU & UK … We lead …
Pretty good chance Tomi and Morez come back next year? (as of now)
Because instead hew could play at a prep program.Indy, why wouldn't he redshirt?

I’d rather see him locked in at Illinois and practice with our studs rather then play with a bunch of high schoolers. Wrap him up in a 2 year dealBecause instead hew could play at a prep program.
Unfortunately due to the relative strength of the Euro to the Benjamin, 1 Humrichous is worth only a 0.97 exchange rate over in Europe. We might want to deal in Francs insteadI would expect there is some back channel discussion between Euro recruits camp's and people from KJ and Tomi background......
Seems that would bode well for the Illini....................sometimes it's not only about the Benjamins .......................
Tomi and Morez back is, and would be, a very formidable frontcourt. Definitely need a viable back-up tho
Heard Jakstys was thinking of moving to a UK league, but was still short a few PoundsUnfortunately due to the relative strength of the Euro to the Benjamin, 1 Humrichous is worth only a 0.97 exchange rate over in Europe. We might want to deal in Francs instead
we need to marks right in there then..........Unfortunately due to the relative strength of the Euro to the Benjamin, 1 Humrichous is worth only a 0.97 exchange rate over in Europe. We might want to deal in Francs instead
Let's put tariffs on imported basketball players. That will fix it.Unfortunately due to the relative strength of the Euro to the Benjamin, 1 Humrichous is worth only a 0.97 exchange rate over in Europe. We might want to deal in Francs instead
It's cool that he us coming with Kofi in the gym on his night and Tomi hopefully having a good game. I see he just turned 18 about 2 weeks ago so he should still be growing into that frame plus getting more coordinated and use to 7'3" frame.
imagine Tomi, Morez and the Italian Stallion on the floor together. Just pondering. Love to see him on the court next year with the OandB on.
Very agile for his size!Stumbled across this highlight reel. A lot to like about the way he moves at that size.
There was nobody else above 6’6” in any of those highlights but he does move well for a kid his size. Would be a nice addition 2 years from now nowStumbled across this highlight reel. A lot to like about the way he moves at that size.
Any way we can impact neck length? Will Fletch check and see if his growth plates are still open. Would be amazing if they are still open.
Time for some good ol' Bill Self Hi-Lo post action next year. Love it
They have two huge named Euro guys in front of him right now-they are about to land one in the next few weeks and the other will depend on what Will Riley ends up doing. He's a good player, a good plan B. Also depends on if they bring Ben back or not-Ben will be allowed to come back most likely but with the role of a bench guy getting 20 minutes a gameSpeaking of Euro players, missed that Jonas Boulefaa from France visited in what looks like late Dec. Anyone remember how the visit went, what he brings to the table on court, and prospects of him joining team next year?

I'm all for bringing back every single guy who wants to be back. Even Ben and Booth. I just want continuity. They have two huge named Euro guys in front of him right now-they are about to land one in the next few weeks and the other will depend on what Will Riley ends up doing.
