My wife made plans for us with some friends that interfere with the Duke game. At first I was pissed, now after our performance against MSU, I'm thinking it may be a blessing in disguise. I will record the game and watch later if we play well.

I'm watching Duke take Virginia to the woodshed right now. It doesn't inspire confidence that we'll be competitive at MSG. Duke plays better defense than any of our opponents so far this season, IMHO.

If you are looking for an actual brewery taproom on Manhattan, you have only two choices. Torch and Crown Brewing is about two miles south of MSG (i.e., well out of the way), but it does have the good grace of being only a few steps away from the Spring Street stop on the C train. A good variety of styles on offer, along with really nice bar food.
Other Half is the best brewery in New York and arguably the best in the US, but you have to like New England style IPAs. Their smallest taproom is at Rockefeller Center. No food on offer, but you can bring food in.
Many many more breweries can be found in Brooklyn and Queens, but I don't think any are especially accessible to MSG. I am not expert on the NYC subway, so I could be wrong about that.

Is anyone else Morez than a little concerned about playing Duke without MJ? Tomi on a bum ankle and Booth, Ben, or Davis???

Sadly, I think their bigs are going to feast down low and we obviously can't coach defensing the 3 point line.

Morez is a considerable loss for our beloved. (How did he manage to get back in that game?) But all teams have injuries and Dook is no exception as they are without a forward named Brown. We’ll see.
