Please get a better coach. I wish I would win the mega millions to get a good coach that knows how to make adjustments

Down 6 all things considered is not terrible. KJ has to play under control in the 2nd half if we’re gonna have a chance. Or Will could just go nuclear 🙏

Great defense to end. Did you hear that? Great defense. It’s possible. The players need to hustle more and stop being pushed around.

KJ needs another year to clean up his game but there are so many pushing that he’s a top 5 pick because of the potential. I’m surprised it hasn’t cooled more than it has. Maybe it has behind the scenes.
its mostly because of luka, everyone wants the next luka hahaha

Down only 6. With how poorly we have rebounded I'll take it. But man we have got to get going on rebounding for the next half. The defense as a whole seems out of position.

Probably because we are/were the #1 rebounding team in the nation? I wouldn't talk about it much either

It's definitely an issue tonight though
The only player that has a good understanding of positioning on a rebound is out with a wrist injury.

Quite remarkable to be down only 6 at the half. So many opportunities to pack it in, but the team keeps fighting back. The Illini look outgunned tonight, but it is good to see the fight still there within the team.

This team really needs KJ to step up huge in the 2nd half. Right now he is not performing well enough, and is turning the ball over at way too high of a clip, which has led to quite a few Wisconsin breakout opportunities. If he can clean that up, the Illini have a fighting chance.

I've said it many times. Trying to create a culture with nobody returning, a freshman star, Euro guys who have never seen the Big Ten, and guys who struggled moving from division 3 to division 1, as well as a couple of guys who were mediocre at best in their division one roles and thinking they are going to be elite while giving a couple of untested early twenties guys the reign on offensive and defensive strategy...what could go wrong?
