Valiant effort on the road by a shorthanded squad against a very physical team. Give it another year or two and the ladies will be winning these kinds of games.

Fighting Illini at USC, again a great effort by undermanned Illinois. But like against UCLA, Illinois does not have height or talent to beat top teams like this. Wonder if Coach Green will finally have the caliber of players to compete next year and after. It will take time to mold the new higher rated players into a cohesive team.
All of our height is injured.
You know what. I’m fine if someone better than us wins. They were bigger, faster,stronger,deeper than us. Women still fought, played hard and never gave up. Soon we will have the talent to beat these type of teams.
That team beats probably every women’s team over the last 10 years prior to coach green.
If they were playing, we might been playing for a number 1 seed this year.
They are physical and they are LONG!
Sometimes I think fans forget just how many players we are without. Thanks for making the list Ludoo as a reminder. We did not handle the press well and it cost us. As is usually the case, the refs favor the more aggressive team. They only fouled SIX times? I think not!
If we do not have 8,000 or more fans in SFC next Sunday, we are NOT the basketball loving school we claim to be.

from a sponsor. Make no mistake, the talented players we have coming in want to play for Coach Green and her staff, but they also were encouraged to join the program because of meeting these incredible young women who have resurrected our program. Lets send them off with a day they will always remember.

loved how coach Green brought up the FT different totals and said usc fouls more than what was called.......once again we are really fortunate to have her as the coach of the WBB..............WE REALLY REALLY ARE...............

Wondering this morning if Genesis had to be shipped back home packed in ice? Unbelievable how much time she spent on the floor at USC after being cruely battered, mauled and thrown around like a rag doll. Yet, she always got back up (or frequently had to be helped back up) to run the team and score 22 pts till the very end. Fans HAVE to show up Sunday for last regular conference game at 12:30 pm on Sunday against Michigan to honor her and her fellow Seniors.
Being thrown to wolfs without the fear of reprisal of blowing any assignment is going to do wonders for Hayven confidence the experience she is gaining is invaluable and she could and probably will be a value-added surprise next year!

Yep, again the only good side to all the injuries. Others getting some playing time and in particular, Berry Wallace is exploding each game with the experiences. She will be ready on day 1 next year - no acclimation needed!
