Last time Illini WBB team made NCAA 2nd round was 2000 under Grentz.

ESPN has Illini 21-8 has #8 seed which gets us a #1 seed in 2nd round. Iowa is #6 seed with 21-9 record. They must be getting boost from beating USC at home.

I hope we can win at least 2 games in BTT to improve us to #7 seed so we play a #2 seed 2nd round.

so fun to talk about this with WBB.

Just watched a short vid and reviewed some pics from today's workout, and Jasmine appeared to be very mobile. Unfortunally could not see if any braces or wraps on her leg.

My unsophisticated view of Nebby after watching last night's game against Rutgers is that they are strong, thick, solid, physical and deep. Everything seemed to be clicking for Nebby so hopefully they got a very good game out of their system, although Rutgers was horrible.

I think today's game at 5:30 on BTN could very well come down to how closely the refs call the game. Murkowski & Gang of Thugs just pushed and shoved it seemed on most every defensive and offensive play with no calls. Illini could use some football equipment inc helmets and esp pads.

Let Murkowski get her double-double. Don't double her. KB, don't foul her. Stay home, don't let Nebby go wild from behind the arc.

We beat Nebraska in C-U 3 weeks ago 77-68 by shooting 45% vs their 40%. Even on rebounds, turnovers, 3 pointers, steals blocks. Hopefully we can do it again. Nebraska is projected as #10 seed so they are on bubble and need this game more than us.

Looks like Jasmine's leg does have some brace/tape stuff on it. I hope she can hold up although I don't believe Nebby can press as well as other teams have against the Illini, but they are so deep they may give it a shot.

We need fans in the stands. Indy is an easy drive. Nebby fans will show. They travel well in all sports, especially football and volleyball.

Bostic is on fire. She hasn't missed yet and has 10 points in the first qtr. Feed her the ball!
