He needed one rebound in the final five or six minutes to get that triple-double and couldn't get it. So weird. I'd be crashing every offensive take to get that.

In an exhilarating 13-1 finish to a hard fought game the Illini excorsized some demons from earlier games this season and vanquished the purdont's by the score of 88-80 in our final regular season game.......
Will Riley with 22 big points and a mammoth steal at the end of the game to propel the Illini to victory......His new do looks great too........
KJ with a big 3 for the lead that we never gave back.....

Boswell , I think , was our leading scorer in the 2nd half and he took elbows to the mouth and came back for more....

When they got a 10 pt lead I thought it was over. You just don't come back against them. I kept saying drive in get fouled and then the refs swallowed their whistles. KJ missed that layup off of Smith. Will missed two layups for 2-3 pt plays. But overall we won!!!
Big crowd came out against the Hawkeyes, and the Illini blew them out of the water. I still thought Michigan would cover, but that second half was something else. Let's give credit where it's due.
Great job, BU. You got the team up for Hawkeye, then adjusted well to blow Wolverine out only to hang in there and pummel PU in the last minute of a very hard-fought game.

I am gladly eating crow after believing the team had packed it in after the Duke game. Kudos to the players and staff for continuing to work and close the season strong! It's not always pretty, but any time you win 12 games in the B10 and 20 for the season that is a great accomplishment. I've watched many seasons where we didn't win anywhere close to that many.
I know he missed, but Boswell got hung on those screens big time. Those were wide open looks for Smith. Gotta be better.
