If KSU loses is Tang getting canned?
got absolutely blasted today. fairly underwhelming year for themIf KSU loses is Tang getting canned?
I’ve seen that Greg McDermott is the heavy betting favorite. Is that not accurate?Brownell passes to stay at Clemson … McCollum says no …
The list becomes Schertz & Shrews … And I’m not even sure who else but other coaches essentially in that group …
YIKES …
Umm...yeah, I ate that half cookie. So it's just Pepsi and peanutsThis … How many other coaches can say this ???
Definition of never rebuilding … Only reloading …
He’s getting former top 100 kids to go to McNeese State for a can of Pepsi, some peanuts and half a cookie …

They’re still paying their penance for bending the knee to Bobby Knight. It's all fun and games making fun of Indiana fans and lord knows I'm loving seeing them struggle, but that is one of the best jobs in the country and having so frequently been the "delusional fan base" I always find that stuff this time of year really silly and gross.
The teams whose fanbases truly care about basketball deserve basketball success. True for us, sadly true for Indiana by the same token.
This is one of the worst CBB seasons in recent memory on that metric, not good for the sport.
that’s a tough job and it’s only gotten more difficult in the past 6-7 years![]()
Minnesota fires coach Ben Johnson after 4 seasons
Ben Johnson had served as Minnesota coach since 2021-22 but was unable to return the Gophers to the NCAA tournament.www.espn.com
Make the call Brad! I like this guy for some unknown reason. Always had weak teams but seemed to coach up his players to play above their abilities.![]()

I never thought about Villanova for Collins, but that makes a TON of sense for him. He'd have a much better chance to be competitive there and in the Big East than at Northwestern and the Big Ten. If I'm Villanova, I absolutely call him to see what he's thinking.I think him and Villanova(Neptune should get fired) would make a lot of sense. His Dad lives out there now and his brother in law is a high school coach around there I’m pretty sure.
The only thing I could see is that he's at the age where he gets one last big payday. He's almost 61, so he goes somewhere to get a final major contract without a lot of personal risk. If he flops, he has his big contract and retires even more comfortably. If he's successful, it's quite the cap to his career.I just don’t see him leaving Creighton …

While I don’t disagree with you, I’m guessing he’s loaded and doesn’t have to worry about money at all.The only thing I could see is that he's at the age where he gets one last big payday. I would agree that I don't see him leaving Creighton, but I think the personal motivation would be there if he's really interested.
They realize that Indiana is a football school now.Why are people passing in Indiana job? Seems like a good job. Big Ten. Top 15 salary. Top 15 NIL.
So are we.They realize that Indiana is a football school now.![]()

According to this site, McDermott made just under 3M (assuming base) in 2023.While I don’t disagree with you, I’m guessing he’s loaded and doesn’t have to worry about money at all.
I might be wrong, as I know most people spend what they make, but he’s probably making 4-6 mil a year, right?
does minny make a run at medved?
i like him too. I watch a lot of coach post Illinois game interviews, Always thought he was a good guy.Make the call Brad! I like this guy for some unknown reason. Always had weak teams but seemed to coach up his players to play above their abilities.
He seems like a good coach, but what's he going to be able to do that Johnson couldn't? He's done a good, not great, job in the Mountain West - a conference that was just won by another guy that Minnesota ran out of town. That’s their top target and at this point I’d be shocked if he wasn’t their next coach …
