We have a trash can full of these games this year. It's overflowing with game tape.

I'm still watxhing this debacle, partly because I love the game, the school, and the team...and partly because I'm a glutton for pain.

That said, I'm already looking forward to next year. I think we can get to the 2nd weekend, and I would not be surprised at all. I am also steeling myself against a 1st round blowout like tonight.

One thing I can be sure of...this team lacks a player with a huge pair. Riley and Tre looked pissed, and played hard, but the rest did not and that galls me to the core.

Legit nothing positive to say other than more rest.

Felt like once Maryland got it going and we started slow, everyone lost confidence. So disappointing.

Offense is whatever bc Maryland has an elite defense but the defense was legit horrible. Really only one person to blame and hopefully he is gone soon.

Riley looked terribly intimidated early.

I agree with you on your points. It's all about matchups with our group.

This was a great night. That is, a great night to look away from the Illini game and watch the great IHSA Tournament on Our Beloved’s home floor.

This Illini team can drive you crazy. One night they look Final Four-ish. And another night... like they can’t find the gym.

It's a moot point now, but this game is exactly why the 6/7 > 4/5 never made sense. Gotta win the first game before the 2nd, the 2nd before the 3rd, and on and on.

All depends on match ups. If you are a 6 seed you could get an over rated 3 seed but you would then Play a tough 2 seed. At some point you got to beat a team equal or better than you. Ju

This is why I said if we win tonight idc what happens after. I knew it would take a miracle.
