Nice that Texas (Orange) and Xavier (navy) paying homage to the Illini with the color choices. 
We get Harlan, Bonner and Van Gundy as they are doing the Milwaukee games
Texas is peaking at the right time. This doesn’t bode well.
Is Hamer doing Xavier’s defensive game plan? Terrible execution.
Two physical, athletic teams. Don't like the matchup for us regardless of winner unfortunately. Hopefully the guys prove me wrong.
What happened to the NIT? It used to have prestige. Now it’s all mid majors.
Xavier isn’t that athletic and they performed about to their expectations this year. A level pretty comfortably below Illinois. Texas on the other hand though has a pretty high ceiling and you have to worry they’re like Carolina a few years ago or UCLA before that in terms of a team finally putting it all together at the tournament time after a very disappointing regular season.
It was -100,000 that people would be in here dooming while watching this game no matter what happened. If we show up like we can, the rest will take care of itself.
Texas look like a splitting image of the teams that have given us the most problems this season. They are athletic, they play hard, they don't turn it over much, and they can get on fire from behind the 3-point line where we don't defend the best. On the plus side, it gives us a chance to prove that we can win against a big, quick, hard-charging, athletic team.

Ha. No matter the result Xavier or Texas winning either one would be the boogeyman for a lot on here...First 4 for a reason...Not impressed. Go out and win.
If they had all of these traits, they would not be playing tonight.
I'd much rather play Xavier. Texas has some serious athletes that are having zero troubles getting to the rim.

If we go 2 for 43 from the arc, we can't beat the Little Sisters of the Deaf and Blind if they spot us a dozen. Kind of like NC....what team from the many Illini set of actors will show up? And what will the coaches dream up and stay with that we obviously know won't work after seeing 5 min. of play? A sad statement but, unfortunately, the team we have.
They play in the toughest conference in the country and they are just now getting fully healthy.
We might as well just fold up shop and forfeit then. Goodness the amount of 'I don't want like this matchup' nonsense gets old. These are two 11 seeds playing each other with a combined 26 losses
Both look "great"? Come on. They look fine. Don't look like world beaters IMO.
Xavier / TX game is a sloppy hot mess. Just chaotic.
Relax, my man. Just an observation. We tend to struggle against strong, athletic teams in case you hadn't noticed this season. As I said, "I hope the guys prove me wrong" in my concern. Enjoy the game!
