We do this every year. It is reported that Brad's agent is "reaching out" (which is his job, what he is SUPPOSED to do).

I’m not willing to confidently say that at this point based on the information I’ve been told …

More likely than not that Brad stays ? Absolutely … But it’s certainly not a guarantee or a lock …
How would you personally feel if Brad left for Texas?

oats is from wisconsin and coached for 11 years in the detroit area. would he have any interest in mich state if and when izzo steps down? seems like gard will be at wisky awhile, but maybe oats would want to come home to uw? you can't deny madison is a great college town in a beautiful area.

Been said here before by our esteemed insiders, but it sounds like Izzo will name his successor and I doubt it will be Oats.

Just figured out Indy Illini Fan’s identity and it all makes sense now.

I don't think God is an Illini fan... strictly based on my experience...

IDK- Sounds like he considers it every year.
When my kids are acting (multiple times a day) up I consider getting in my car, chucking my phone out the window, and driving for the southern border with nothing but the clothes on my back, a fresh stick of deodorant, and an acoustic guitar.

Never done it though. Probably never will.

There are only a few schools where you wouldn't even entertain a phone call from UT. Illinois isn't one of them, unfortunately. Pretty evenly matched, but BU is from Texas ffs. If I were coaching UT and Illinois came calling I'd be going to Illinois for the same reason I assume he'd leave Illinois to go to UT.

JW is in a tough spot. On the off chance that BU takes the Texas job, would we still have solid options left by the time it happens? If we wait too long, do we risk being late to the party?
