Probably should have been T'd up at that one timeout late, but the officials exercised a lot of discretion to not T him up.

I wish they would have. Would have been chef's kiss to have Danny put the final nail in his own coffin because he can't control his emotions on the sideline.
I thought it was going to be a 'Fran Goodbye.'

don't get the raging hate for Hurley on this board. Dude coaches with a passion and does it well. Acts douche and arrogant sometimes but he has earned it with his 2-peat. Chris Beard, who's an actual wife beater, doesn't even get half of Hurley's hate here. lol what

He's a good coach but his record in the NCAA tournament without Clingan is 3-5. This is just my perception but I get the feeling he thinks he is the second coming of John Wooden. He probably has that edge about him because his brother was such a great college bb player and he wasn't.

He literally told refs that he was the best coach in college basketball to try to win an argument. He’s not just a little douchie. He’s a lot douchie.

Edit: also when asked how he felt when UConn beat Oklahoma, he had a smug look and said “normal, I feel normal” like winning tournament games is just so business as usual for them. Admittedly, they just came off a two-peat, but come on. At least show some grace. And it’s not like this team was killing it.

Unless they're inherited from a previous coaching staff why does it make sense to judge a coach by subtracting players they've recruited and nurtured to make a point? Especially when that player averaged 13 minutes and 7 points per game off the bench in one of the seasons you're negating.
