Will is good and I wish him all the best but he will not have a career like Ayo or TSJ.
How could you possibly know that? Did anyone think TSJ would've been as capable after his first couple years as he turned out to be? If you did, you are lying. If will stays for 2 more years, could he have the career that Ayo could have? There is a reason NBA teams want raw talent and want it fast.

It doesn’t look super likely right now. But it could happen.

Did anyone have Pods on the Select Team on their bingo card?

I suspect he is making a prediction. I doubt he'd claim he knows what the future holds. Characterizing opinions as "lying" seems a bit unhelpful.

If I have to read another post saying KJ and WR are "not ready for the NBA" one more time I will rip my hair out.
Being ready for the NBA and expecting to be drafted are two different things. Of course, take the money and the prestige, we all would.

But will you rip out the rest of your hair when they are playing in the G-League next year? Or Europe a few years later?

I wish them both the best but that was not NBA level playing.

Running back my favorite least favorite Illini stat: We have three tournament upsets all time, and each was by a single seed line. Illinois has never significantly overperformed in the tournament

Anyone want to wager a bottle of Maker’s Mark that Hamer doesn’t get fired? I think Brad is too proud/stubborn.

Probably a stupid take on my part.

And you may find yourself … playing in a basketball tournament.

And you may find yourself … without a plan for offense.

And you may ask yourself .. why is my defense run by my son’s rec ball buddy.

And you may say to yourself, my God, what have I done

The worst part about making the tourney is that 99% of the teams in the field will end their season on a loss.

I'd still rather the season end this way than when we're bounced from the BTT, or worse, not invited to it at all.
We have been down by 15+ in every one of our losses despite an average seed of 4.5. That does not happen to 99% of teams.

This team had WAY too many embarrassing losses this year, which shows lack of heart. We were never really in this game. KY punched us in the face in the beginning of the 1st and in the beginning of 2nd half, we had no answer. That's on coaching and roster construction. Something has to change.
No, we punched ourselves in the face with all the turnovers. KY was just the recipient of our bad play.

Yes, plus:
Rez always comes to play and did again today.
For some reason, Brad doesn’t like for him to get near the minutes he gives Hummer.
