They want some shooters, and they will get some. More importantly, this team is gonna flip from last year. Veteran dogs that are hungry.

Frontcourt wise expect Z to announce soon, and a 4 man to follow.
I’m intrigued by this 4 man you speak of because we don’t appear to be in on any - and for the love of all that is holy, please not Ben Humrichous!

I hope the Dix thing happens. Watching us go 8-35 from the arc every night got old and annoying in a hurry.

Josh and a pair of Ivisics would help rectify that problem.

If not Josh they need to find someone who other teams can’t afford to leave open.

Because having a DOG like him on the roster is exactly what last years team needed, imo.

Should be the start of a very good offseason.
Any word on DGL? I would like to have him back for continuity. The experience would be nice to have. As long as his attitude is good. Seemed unhappy at the end of the season. That stuff can rub off from other unhappys though. Any insight?

Uh that doesn’t change the fact he shoots free throws like Shaq and is delusional about his skill set

Does Ty count as a player with 0 returning minutes? Or does that type of graphic use his minutes from two years ago?

Ya, that's basically what I said. But he was turning down shots at the rim by the end of the season during his last year playing. To run the offense we have been running, he has to be able to score and ideally at multiple levels. Again, hope he's developed that.
His leadership, familiarity with the program, and experience are awesome to have regardless! I'll trust Brad will figure out how to fit him into an offense that was very different last year from the one Ty played in previously...or maybe we are changing schemes again?!?

Do you feel great about Sarr(assuming Will is in the league)....then Z(obviously Tomi), then the 4?

My concern, right now, is lacking that bonafide go-to guy late in games. Athleticism, size, a shooter and a stud scorer would make me a happy camper.

Not excited about Ty returning. My most vivid memories of him are the opposing team not bothering to guard him. Hope he proves me wrong.
I think the Ivisic twins make all the difference here. It wasn’t that teams didn’t need to guard Ty, but rather that they could guard Ty with their 5 man and we didn’t have a way to punish them for it with a mismatch elsewhere.

Coleman and Guerrier were both about 6’8 or 6’9 and neither had any kind of post game to really speak of. So teams could put bigger wings on them and get away with it.

But a big wing won’t cut it against legit 7 footers. And the fact that they can both shoot means the lane can be open for Ty, either from the dunker spot or cuts, rolls and drives.

If you put your 5 man on Ty, that means you will have a wing on an Ivisic. Good luck with that. But if you guard Ty with a wing, with the paint open, that is very likely to be a favorable matchup for Ty.

This is the take right here! It’s all about roster construction and how the pieces fit…sit back and let Brad COOK

I think you can only have room for 1 of TY and Morez in the rotation. If I can only pick one, I’d rather put pieces around TY. I may be alone in that.
