A regular poster. Can I be part of the cool kids club and be called a “regular” poster …lol Give me a break. It’s a message board .
Which Wisconsin teams, those that have beaten us nine straight? We are slowly turning into the old Wisconsin teams. We will be one of, if not the slowest team in the Big 10 next year.
A cornucopia of statistics...I see they aren't up to USA standards...shame on them for shunning neck lengths statistics...Mirkovic weighed in at 255 apparently
Also, Sarr's standing reach! (and apparently he's 6'7" now?)
Edit: oops didn't see that @New Creation beat me to it!
I think we can give up hope on Riley since he has become a consensus first rounder.BTW, I have a sinking feeling that the Illini will NOT sign Dame Sarr, and that Will Riley will NOT return next season. I truly HOPE that I am WRONG on both counts! But that feeling is probably why I'm urging/pushing/wanting other Illini moves to be made soon/now in the transfer portal. Somehow adding Malachi Smith, Xaivian Lee, Kennard Davis, and LeJuan Watts would allow me to forget all about "missing" on Sarr and Riley.

Well that would solve our defensive coaching problems. We obviously aren't building this roster to be able to play man to man defense.
I'm hearing from sources I can't reveal, that Bu is talking to this guy. /sHe might be looking to supplement his SSA checks...... Hearing also he knows a little about the zone?

Wait a second….. you don’t think Ty is athletic?Jeez, excuuuuuuuse some of us "dumb dumbs" for wanting to get more athletic. We lost arguably one of the better athletes we had (MJ) and added 3 players that are not super athletic (Ty, Z, and Mirkovic). Good players/prospect and I'm glad to have them all. But is everyone satisfied with the athleticism of this past year's team? Would it have competed with Auburn, Duke (we already know), Houston, or FL? We haven't significantly improved that. Yes, it is super early, but other teams have added athletic transfers. I thought this was a board to express opinions. I guess it has to the the "right" opinion or one from an insider.
Tajh is Trevor's son. Alijah Arenas is Gilbert's son. We old.Is Tajh Ariza related to Trevor?
I think Gilbert Arenas has a kid that is a 5 star too.
If we get this guy and he is a main part of the rotation, the game threads won’t be for the faint of heart with his FT%.![]()

I give him 4.5 centibirds. (5-point scale, of course)Well there’s an athletic fella
good point. Can hardly be called a chart, in hindsight...Where is neck length on this chart?
He is, as I said in other posts. One of the better athletes we have, no doubt. But Houston, Auburn, Duke, and FL all had at least 3-4 players more athletic than Ty. I'm just saying we have to go get more of it, because we were sorely missing it this year and have not significantly improved it. Not all that controversial, albeit critical. Which I know is a no, no for some.

I think Ty would fit right in with a team like Houston, Tennessee and Auburn. I agree that we need more of those gritty-type players. He is, as I said in other posts. That's probably the most likely outcome for both. I'd guess a 5% chance Riley returns. And Sarr, against the field (and the nBA) I would guess less than 50/50.BTW, I have a sinking feeling that the Illini will NOT sign Dame Sarr, and that Will Riley will NOT return next season.
