One of those dudes is a non shooter at point guard and another will be in the nba.

Imagine the meltdown if our top portal guy that we put four million into stayed in the league.

Not that I’d argue against getting a few guys in here right now.

But I’d be careful on crowning Michigan a portal winner. $10M for Yaxel, Cadeau, Morez, and Mara im not sure is the best allocation. And if Yaxel stays in? Ewww

Not sure I get the point here ? Results > patience … I agree … Dusty’s producing …

Dusty stole the one guy everyone on here wanted back …

Then went and got a former 5 star PG …

Oh and the number 1 player in the portal as well …

Oh and he’s coming off a 2nd weekend in his first year …

Dudes killing it …

Now I do think Yaxel goes pro … But they’ll pivot …

I feel like some of our insiders say we have money and because we do Brad has no excuses. Then we bring up recruits and they say we don’t have the funds to get them. So which one is it? We haven't had top money for some time. I think what happened was we jumped at NIL and the transfer portal thanks to Coach while other programs were more cautious. I keep pointing to Michigan, whose refusal to join the modern age got us Terrence Shannon, who have now entered 2025 ready and able to compete.

It never made sense that NIL wouldn't align with athletic department revenue, and we're now seeing the correction. We're bottom half of the Big Ten in that metric, and I expect that to be our fate when everyone aligns their NIL budgets.
