Sucks to see it happen but his latest social media flare-up was probably the final straw for the station. I know a lot of people didn't like him but I enjoyed listening to him, all the way back to the Boers and Bernstein days. Will be curious to see what The Score does going forward as Marshall Harris still struggles a bit when he has to drive the show and this week showed it.

Bernstein is back with a podcast that debuted earlier this week:

To his credit, he absolutely owns up to the fact that he screwed up and it seems like he is working to be a better person going forward.

He was entertaining on the score but an arrogant bag...

Well I want to say I wish he is a terrible man and that I don't want to hear him ever again. I watched the first 10 minutes and decided he deserves another chance. Perhaps I will have time to watch all of it later.

He’ll sing that song and dance that dance until this blows over, then return to his arrogant d-bag ways.

Leopards never changing spots and all of that…..

Yes because god forbid they not feed into the meatball fandom.
Come on, now you are going above and beyond to be an apologist. There is a difference between not drinking the Kool-Aid and being an obnoxious hater ... finding a way to dislike the 2005 Fighting Illini as a CHICAGO Area radio personality is certainly the latter. It's an entirely different scenario than, say, ragging on our football program during the Beckman years.

Not being an apologist at all. My statement was more in general, not just about the 05 team.

He also interjects his politics too much...
Was he the medical expert during Covid? Someone was, and anyone who disagreed with anything he said was an idiot. Not sure if it was him or some other MD turned sports talk genius. I would tell the radio that I could hear covid anywhere, I wanted to hear sports. It never helped.

Bernstein constantly referred to downstate Illinoisans as ignorant goobers, give me a break.
And “mouth breathers”

With all due respect, have you seen some of the people downstate? :)

Oh yeah, because stick to sports is so terrible.

What did you expect them to talk about, especially during the early days of the pandemic? The 90s Bulls documentary helped a little bit but a lot of areas had issues with content the first few months of covid.

I had not listened to him or the Score in years . in the rare times I did , I would say there is not a guy on earth I disagree more with on just about every subject there is .

He just rubbed me the wrong way on just about everything
