He's perhaps a bit undersized but his football IQ is through the roof and you do not want to pick a fight with him. He's been everything we could ask for given we hadn't planned on starting him until Jones suddenly left for Auburn.

I don't see the evidence of football IQ. He commits a fairly standard amount of penalties and missed blocks compared to any other lineman. How much time does this board spend complaining about the OL, and particularly about not being able to get 1 yard running right up the middle? And him picking a fight resulted in 15 yards as recently as last week.

There is nothing good about this. If you were just changing a guard, fine. The center controls the line calls, the QB and center establish a rapport....the center is just the anchor of the line.

If he can't play, there's no good spin to this.

This is a just win game for me. I really don't care if it's by several scores or by a single point, I won't complain, just win. Losing Kreutz is a big loss considering our line issues thus far this year. Defense needs to step up and we need the OL to be as stable as possible

First drive is also usually the offenses best plays so offense should have a big advantage on it at least to start
