I won’t say we will beat them but by Thursday I’ll believe we can. We got Luke and Bret. We got a decent shot.
Our defense is giving up over 40 points a game in Big Ten games. We have issues on defense that need corrected if we want to play OSU close or win the last 5 games of the season after OSU. Hoping they can figure it out because our defense is pretty bad so far. We’ve been saved by a really strong passing game.
We can hope. OSU has been pretty incredible this year on defense and will be by far the best we face this season. We really need our OL to have the games of their lives and Lunney is going to need to scheme up a heck of a game. I honestly think this game on offense goes as well as Feagin goes. We need him to somehow consistently get at least 3yds a carry. If our OL can get him there, that will open things up for Luke a bit more, relieve pressure, and then Valentine might get some space to jitterbug.
This game is a very tough task and there's a very good chance if not a likely chance we get beat to a similar level Oregon put on us last year. That said, there's something in my gut that feels like we're going to come out with a surprising level of fight in this one and make OSU earn it. And if we can somehow give Luke a chance to win it late, I truly believe he does something as special as Juice did.
Huge game. Just give Luke a chance and make OSU fight for every yard.
Smith and Tate may combine for 200+ receiving yards..but I’m ok with that as long as we get a win.

Its definitely best against best with our offense vs their defense. Whoever gets the best of that matchup will likely win the game. Mistake free football and captivating on their mistakes is a must.
For extra context OSU hasn't given up double digit points in a game so far. If there are a lot of points scored in this one we might be in trouble.

Covering the spread is the realistic goal for this game. I think if we look respectable, there's lot to be encouraged about.
