Four of the top 15 big ten receiving yard leaders will be in this game: Beatty (2nd), Dixon (15th), Smith (3rd), Tate (4th).
Dixon and Beatty = Bryant and Franklin.Four of the top 15 big ten receiving yard leaders will be in this game: Beatty (2nd), Dixon (15th), Smith (3rd), Tate (4th).
Just going to put it out there that having receiving yard leaders won’t mean much if our QB doesn’t have enough time to go through his progression or get into rhythm….pass protection is going to be key.Four of the top 15 big ten receiving yard leaders will be in this game: Beatty (2nd), Dixon (15th), Smith (3rd), Tate (4th).
+1 probably won't do it. +2 might. But +3 probably required.I think we will need a heavy dose of magic from the turnover fairy. tOSU will rack up yards but if we win the turnover battle we can hang around.

How is it Illinois is the only B1G team that hasn't had a bye week yet? Not ideal.Without a doubt. The bye week is coming at a great time (regardless of outcome next Saturday). The team will be on fumes after Saturday. Really crazy to play 7 games before a bye.
i’m fine with the bye week being the week before the trip to SeattleHow is it Illinois is the only B1G team that hasn't had a bye week yet? Not ideal.
I get and agree with your thought. But, since UCLA was forecasted to go winless in the B1G by so many, this game has always had more hype. Now, the hype will only be increased by the return of Big Noon Kickoff to Champaign. I think we learned our lesson from the IU drubbing, and that's a taste I'm positive our guys will not allow in their mouth again.I so want us to fly under the radar this week. We were so hyped before the Indiana game and fell flat on our face. I want this game to have all the hype of Penn State - UCLA.
