I’ve respected Ohio State fans ever since they gave my buddy Dave Wilson a standing ovation at the end of the game in your house. Just make sure you beat Michigan!

Not feeling it. OSU D and IL O will be something of a stalemate. We aren't going to score a bunch but move the ball with some regularity. The OSU O is far better than the IL D. As a result most of the game will be played on the OSU side of the field. I see a 3TD margin here. That's OK if it happens. Get to 8-4 and play in a nice bowl game. Get to 9-3 and play in a nicer bowl game. Get to 10-2 and maybe a spot in the CFP. All of that is in front of us regardless of what happens in this game.

My brain is telling me it'll be the IU game 2.0. Well you know what? F you, brain! I'll drink a lot of boozed up Orange kool-aid so my gut can tell me we win 33-29 (y) :chief:

According to Jeff Sagarin's College Football Rankings , we're 25...To me that looks about right. We're about 2 touchdown underdogs...But the way both teams played yesterday, we'll get slaughtered.

How is it Illinois is the only B1G team that hasn't had a bye week yet? Not ideal.

Does feel low though OSU is allowing 6 PPG so despite our high PPG it averages out / leans towards OSU. Our defense is bad though so surprised spread isn’t higher - home field does give some points though.

I get and agree with your thought. But, since UCLA was forecasted to go winless in the B1G by so many, this game has always had more hype. Now, the hype will only be increased by the return of Big Noon Kickoff to Champaign. I think we learned our lesson from the IU drubbing, and that's a taste I'm positive our guys will not allow in their mouth again.

I glanced at the Purdue stats again late last night. It was a pretty even game except:

* POSITIVE: we passed whenever and wherever we wanted. With only 22 pass attempts by Luke, I'm hoping we left a lot in the bag for OSU.
* NEGATIVE: PU had 10+ tackles for loss (our Achilles Heel). The USC game was certainly the outlier this season. Can we get back to that level?

We beat #1 Ohio State in '07. I was working at Savoy 16 as a projectionist and that night, I had the radio on in the projection booth listening to the game while working. When we won, I went so crazy with joy that FIVE different theaters complained to the manager that the idiot in the booth was drowning out the movie they were watching. One person apparently told my manager that it sounded like the projectionist was either getting murdered or having sex in the booth. I received a call over my walkie, "Hey uh, we're getting complaints about you being really loud up there. Just tone it down a little...but I-L-L, baby!" And I responded with, "K...I-N-I, WOOHOO!!"

Let's give another projectionist in the local theaters a reason to receive noise complaints, boys! 24-20 Beloved! I'm drinking the orange Kool-Aid!!!

Don’t see our D being able to get off the field. Would need to get a TD on every red zone trip and likely a +2/3 turnover margin to have a shot.

Coverage here will be much tighter than what Luke has seen thus far as well.

Would be stoked to cover.

D line got absolutely no pressure on the QB. If we don't fix that for Ohio State we are going to be in for a long day.

no one gave UCLA a chance in h3ll to beat PSU. 24.5 pt dogs. and yet it happened
we have about a 1 in 7 chance in my opinion. it is possible .
