Tough loss. Need to be shooting FTs all week! The refs really killed any momentum either team had as well.

Highlight it by all means. I'm getting tired already of posters saying we don't have athletic players. And/or our team will be weak defensively. We have to knock this crap off. We're still in November; it's much, much too early to jump to any conclusions. Let's see how we look once Tomi and Petrovic get back to full strength.

Look at the stats for f sakes… we got what we needed but 59% from the line was the difference… simple math! I have no issues with how we played except the free throws were pathetic!
I agree on the FT shooting but I disagree that we rebounded like we need our bigs to. With Big Z and T only getting 3 rebounds that us not good enough from them with most of the time at the 5 spot. Ben got 6 on his own and David 10. Big Z and T need to rebound better than last night. I think they themselves would agree that.

I didn't read like 98% of this thread so forgive me...

But first it wasn't that bad of a loss. Would prefer to win but it doesn't hurt us any.

Second, if Tomi and MP had 4 games to get back in form we win this easily.

Agree with you, and I read more of the thread.

Normally I read about 74% percent of each postgame thread, but just had a bad reading day today and only read 59% of it.
It happens.

Best dunk I've seen at the Hall was by the Kate Efrem Winters when vs Minnesota the passer inbounded the ball on a lob to Efrem who was standing at the FT line. Clearly Efrem.thought he was going throw him an oop pass but he didn't and the pass was way behind him. Efrem had already jumped and reached back mid air, some how grabbed it and tomahawk dunk crap out if that dunk. After about a half second of everyone taking a deep breath and saying omg did that just happen the Assembly Hall erupted. I don't know if there is video of that but it was insane the power and hops he had. I'll never forget that dunk or the block Wayman Tisdale had vs us when he literally stacked the ball one handed out if mid air. Two greats that died too young.
That one last night was pretty sweet and I was there for both of em some 40 or so years apart.

Andrej is looking to score when he drives. He was 11/16 from the Field, but 0 assists/5 turnovers. He’s a Bull in a China shop with his sometimes clumsy drives into traffic but I think he’s strong enough to make it work. I think most of the guys on the team like passing but Andrej is pure tunnel vision when he gets it on the wing. I can’t complain in the two real games we’ve played he’s been very good at converting.
He should be trying to score. 11 out of 16 on twos is much better than 6 of 16 on threes.
