Glad the defense finally stepped up in the very last half of the regular season. Amazing what a little bit of pressure can do. Imagine if we actually showed some guts earlier in the season. Now, get on that phone and find us a new DC, Bret.

We won and I’m glad about that but I’m not going to miss watching this team when the season is done. Which is strange considering we got at least eight wins and Altmyer will always be one of my favorite players we ever had here. But almost every minute of it has been frustrating. Failing to deliver the satisfying kill shot twice in the final minutes is the perfect encapsulation of that.

Consecutive seasons with at least 8 wins for the first time in 35 years. Wished some losses were more competitive but not gonna complain. Plenty of practices to get enough juice for some bowl game magic.
