If we’re being 100% honest, one of Boyd or Lopati won’t be playing here (in all likelihood).
Next year, if Boyd wins the starting competition and balls out, he’ll have three years left. And if Lopati wins it, he’ll have four years left.

I know it’s a long way to the end of this recruitment, and lots of schools will try hard to flip him, but Lopati coming back later this month is a good sign, right? Hoping Art stays and that will lock up Lopati.
He’s 6”6 - prototypical tackle body. Don’t see him beating out Knapnik.

Same. It is absolutely baffling to me. It's not that our lines have been bad, per se, but I was expecting the O-line to be the strength of a BB team, and it just hasn't happened.
Houser was offered more than $1M by ECU to stay there if that helps with the math- he’s definitely getting over $2m in the big ten, I would guess $2.5-3M if we are competing with Arkansas.
Don’t forget the revenue sharing so there is $21.5M (not all on football , but the majority) in addition to NIL for teams to use, I think the math gets crazy for top QB’s

If there’s a really good QB in the portal that we think can elevate the program … I expect us to go that route … Whatever is best for the program …
