Need a solidified 2-deep at every spot in the secondary. Even if we get X back.
Heckel is back at NB as far as we know correct? I would think if X is back - we would be pretty set at CB and NB for the 2 deep, but it’s good to keep recruiting because you never know

Bailey staying is good to see. A lot of people rightfully talk about feagin changing positions, but am I the only one who thinks Bailey would be better at LB? Hes a good run stopper, physical tackler, seems to be better in the box. He really struggles in space and in coverage. Would adding 20lbs and moving to LB be a better path to the next level or do I just not know ball?

I think we need a new word for "flip." Like "steal away with more ca$h" or something.

As in, "...predictions for Necktucky to steal Kenny Minchey away with more ca$h..." (it's a separable phrasal verb).

Unless Illinois is bringing in Pittman to coach o-line and he specifically wanted Illinois to bring in Martin because he sees something in his athleticism, I just can't get over those pressure numbers.

Does he have 2 years? Staff must see potential vs. immediate impact.

I may have missed it, but was there ever any news on X’s injury? I remember it being very vague then kinda swept under the rug when it was “known” he would not play again this year…

Heckel and reseitich ain't go cut it going forward. It's a reason those two never got other Power 4 offers besides Illinois. Illinois has and can recruit better at those positions. Illinois needs to stop being cute and spend that money.

You think he's good in coverage?

Is he an all big10 safety because he helps the secondary or is he all big 10 because hes good at sticking his nose in the box and stop runs?

Urlacher was a safety too, but someone saw where he would fit better
