Something makes me think we will not similarly benefit from Iowa shooting 27% from three Sunday. Will need to be on our best game for sure.

Apropos of nothing, the Gopher cheerleaders just led their crowd in a less-than-rousing cheer spelling out the entire name of the state. Can’t do that in a 30-second timeout.

Meanwhile, Hawkeye fans everywhere were just breathing a sigh of relief that their state only has four and that they only have to remember one letter during their version of this cheer.

No issues here, brother … I have zero desire to create “teams” within our fan base, and I think posters throwing around “I told you so” posts are being unproductive. We can find positives and negatives in most games, and we shouldn’t all be singing the same tune after every performance!

With that said, I’m now confident in our chances to beat Michigan at home. For one, they showed they have vulnerabilities today. But more importantly? We just don’t lose to those guys!

We just had a game where we shot 22% from 3, so Iowa is the one in trouble.

Look at Michigans road scores. They aren’t nearly the same results compared to their home/neutral results. I know I was upset about our result with PSU but mostly because I felt like we got complacent in the second half and did enough to survive but wanted them to have a stronger killer instinct. Definitely was harsh but want us prepared for tougher road games ahead.

One thing about the Brad Underwood era is we have that killer instinct more often than not on the road #RoadKill

Our disappointing win (not by me)… vs PS looks different now yes? PS … +6 rebounds (who would have thought) yet while shooting 27% for 3’s and 35% from the field …in the end they chuck a bad 3 miss for the win against Michigan. Yet they hung in and lose by only 2 …and missing Mingo . What are Michigan fans thinking? Sky is falling?
We should relax a bit on this site and embrace any win we earn!

I just read the postgame thread, and many that were mad were very well informed individuals.

But, the disappointment seemed focused on individual players not performing and coaching. I guess that’s pretty much everything

I do think this Mich squeak by win shows we are a lot closer to the top than we felt after our win at the Palestra. But we still have issues that need to be addressed on our team.

Nah…I disagree. It was likely a carefully orchestrated power move (a psyop if you will)…obviously the idiots are imbeciles that can’t spell basic words.
